Experienced online poker players this is your chance. If you love poker, want to learn from the pros face to face, and have a bit of tourney experience, Boot Camp is for you.
Think of yourself sitting at a poker table with the pros laying and learning more. A boot camp for poker players is being hosted by the World Poker Tour to be held at the Mirage. The WPT Boot Camp Champions Event will host 100 people looking to get all they can out of the game from the WPT's scheduled event. It will take place from December 16 -18. A new totally fresh chance for informed poker players with prior poker tournament know-how. Players will be evaluated on their experience, which is obligatory to qualify. The WPT's Mike Sexton will lead a team of teachers/pros at the event . Well-known poker people like Clonie Gowen, Mark Seif, Ron Rose and Jules Leyser and more will be on hand. They will cover sophisticated poker tactics that should add to the strategies and tools already had by the lucky but experienced students. In the beginning of the event, the students will get a refresher course on poker basics before taking their VIP seats at the taping of a WPT Final Table being held at the Bellagio. The winner gets bragging rights and $500. This three-day event ends with an awards banquet where the tournament winner will receive his or her WPT Main Event seat and $1,000 for hotel and travel monies. This will be the only event of this kind in 2005. Applications are limited to only 100 players. The cost to join in on the event is $2,895. This fee includes a seat at the private tournament as well as breakfast, lunch and cocktails with the poker pros.
