Record-breaking hotel room rates and a very limited availability are taking-over much of Vegas' approximate 34,000 hotel rooms.

While many Strip resorts are already saying that they have been sold-out for sometime,  travelers can still find a hotel room - but at a very intense price. Think double the typical rate folks. Yes, if you are a gambler, maybe you should think about online casinos here. If you are looking for a party - yes, Vegas is the place to be - just an expensive place to be.

 - A basic room at the Wynn - Thursday evening for $399, but those rates jump to $699 Friday and Saturday.

 - MGM Grand, Vegas' largest resort for romms - No Saturday check-ins and Grand Tower rooms are going for $599 per night. The same room would go for $89.99 Thursday evening.

Online casinos players looking to head out to any of the several top-notch nightclubs around Vegas better be prepared to pay a couple hundred bucks just to get in - if they already know someone who can get them in for that price.
